Destitute - No Longer!

The second wave of Covid 19 has been very severe and so have been its repercussions on life of the people, everyone has suffered due to it in some or the other form, however there is no loss like loosing dear ones, especially the pain and sufferings a small child has to endure after loosing parents to Covid.

Understanding the pain and the problems they will have to face in the coming life without their parents and to protect and provide for them Madhya Pradesh government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan has come up with a innovative and much needed scheme called 'Chief Minister Covid 19 Child Welfare Scheme' under which the state goverment will provide for all the children of madhya pradesh who have lost both their parents to Covid.

- Rs.5000 per month to meet expenses till the child turns 18 years of age.

- Free of cost ration to the beneficiary every month.

- Space to reside in a Government run children home in case the child has no proper home to live.

Apart from this the government will also ensure free of cost secondary, higher and technical education in all state run institutions and financial help for fee payment if the beneficiary opts to study in private educational institutions.

Though it is impossible for the government to make up for the emotional loss children who have lost their parents to covid have gone through, however a scheme like this will surely help its beneficiaries to rearrange their lives and proceed confidently in their life journey without being dependent on any other person.
